We are a small team of passionate overlanders based in Batumi. We believe Georgia's greatest treasures — medieval towers at 2,500m, wolf-inhabited valleys, ancient cathedrals — deserve to be discovered, not photographed from a tour bus.

FAQ

Good to know

Everything about documents, insurance, deposits and mountain routes — before you book.

Passport and your national driving licence — licences issued in your home country are valid in Georgia. If the licence is not printed in Latin script, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required in addition.
Minimum age 23 years with at least 3 years of driving experience. A second driver can be added free of charge — no extra fee, no restrictions.
No. Mileage is unlimited across Georgia — drive as much as your route requires.
Standard insurance covers public roads, including gravel routes such as Mestia/Ushguli (Svaneti), Goderdzi Pass, Georgian Military Highway and Kazbegi/Gergeti.

High-risk off-road routes — Tusheti (Abano Pass), Vashlovani canyons, Omalo and Shatili — require our separate written permission before departure. On these routes insurance does not cover tyres, rims, underbody or suspension, and any incident where the patrol police cannot reach the scene cannot be officially recorded, which means insurers decline the claim. We brief every guest on this in detail and help plan the route realistically.
A refundable deposit in cash only, returned in full when you bring the vehicle and equipment back undamaged:
• Base — 200 USD / 200 EUR / 600 GEL
• Comfort & Adventure — 300 USD / 300 EUR / 900 GEL
20% prepayment confirms the booking (within 3 banking days of signing the agreement). The remaining 80% is paid no later than 48 hours before pickup, or in cash when you collect the vehicle. We accept cash, card, bank transfer and USDT — in GEL, USD or EUR.
More than 14 days before pickup — prepayment refunded in full. From 7 to 14 days — 50% refunded. Less than 7 days — prepayment is non-refundable. You can also reschedule to different dates if a vehicle is available, keeping your prepayment.
Yes, full insurance is included in every package. In the event of a claim your liability is limited to a 50 USD deductible. Insurance does not apply if the driver is intoxicated, if the vehicle is driven by someone not named in the agreement, or in cases of gross traffic violations.
2 nights. Pickup and return are standard at 12:00 — other times are possible, and a difference of more than 2 hours is charged as half a rental day.
No. The vehicle may only be driven within Georgia. Abkhazia and South Ossetia are strictly prohibited — insurance does not cover these territories. Crossing the border without permission carries a 1000 GEL penalty.
Child seats and kids' sleeping bags are free of charge, subject to availability — just tell us the children's ages when booking. Offline maps are already loaded in every vehicle, and every vehicle has a GPS tracker on board for your safety.
Pets are welcome — just let us know in advance. Please note that if the interior needs dry cleaning after the trip (hair, odour, stains), the cost is deducted from the deposit. Smoking inside the vehicle is not allowed; traces of smoke incur a 500 GEL cleaning fee.
